Description

WheyPools is a house built around 1800, constructed of red brick with a low-pitched hipped slate roof and two rear wall stacks. The building has three storeys and features a three-window range. The central door is topped with an arched fanlight and is set within an open pedimented doorcase. Flanking the door are two-storey canted bays with flat tops, which have had their windows renewed. On the first floor, there is a central 12-pane sash window with a stuccoed head, incised voussoirs, and a fluted keystone. The top floor includes three 6-pane windows. There is also a brick extension at the rear.
