Description

New House is a house built around 1800, constructed of red brick with stone dressings. It features a low-pitched slate roof with stone-coped gables and end wall stacks, with a larger stack at the north end. The building has three storeys and a three-window range. A stone cornice runs along the top. The ground and first-floor openings are adorned with stone voussoirs and fluted keystones above them. The outer sash windows are tripartite, with a 12-pane centre sash and a central door with six panels. The top floor has three 6-pane windows. There are modern additions at the rear.
