Description

Wheypools Barn is a 16th and 18th century timber-framed barn featuring red brick panels and a plain tiled roof. It has a blue lias rubble plinth. The north end of the barn includes a cart entrance and is gabled on the east side, while the south end serves as a stable with a loft above, which has two stable doors and a window. The barn consists of three bays and retains three base cruck trusses, with one located in the north end wall. The stable end has a later roof.
