Description

Jasmine Cottage and St John Cottage are a pair of houses dating from the early 19th century. They are constructed from stuccoed brick and feature a slate roof. The buildings are two stories high, each with two bays. However, the left-hand house, No. 13, is situated under the hip of the roof and is slightly wider than No. 15. Both houses have a raised plinth and a half-glazed door in the center. No. 15 has a slated gabled hood supported by posts above its door. The windows are 12-pane sashes set in thin exposed frames, except for the left bay of No. 13 on the ground floor, which has two thin 8-pane sashes. The roof is hipped to the left, and there are stacks at each end of the ridge.
