Description

Crockham Cottage, located on King’s Saltern Road in Salterne and Crookham, dates primarily from the 18th century, although it is likely built upon the foundations of an earlier timber-framed structure. The front facade is tile-hung above the timber frame, with a tiled roof and buttresses. The cottage is two storeys high and features five sash windows with glazing bars. Of note are a round-headed window and a pointed window on the first floor. The Salterne section of the building has a bow window on the ground floor.
