Description
The Lymington Town Sailing Club Headquarters is an early 19th-century hexagonal building located on Bath Road. It features angled wings on the north and south sides of a central entrance. The exterior is stuccoed, with broad, bracketed eaves cornice and a slate roof topped by a central wooden louvred feature. The building has two storeys, with two barred sash windows on each face. The central entrance projects and is flanked by two pairs of Doric columns. Steps leading to the entrance are approached from each side and have a ramped handrail and a cast iron balustrade that continues across the center between the columns. Above the entrance is a cast iron balcony. The side wings are one storey high, each with two windows and blind, round-arched alcoves in the end facades. The Lymington Town Sailing Club Headquarters and the Sea Water Bath House together form a group.
