Description

Hawthorn House is an early 19th-century facade applied to a pre-existing older house. The building is stuccoed with a tiled roof. It is two storeys high with a rear attic containing dormers, and has three windows. The windows are sash windows with late 19th-century glazing, and there are labels above the ground-floor windows. The central doorway features a cornice and pilasters. The building adjoins Eagle House, and together with Eagle House and its garden wall, they form a group with the Lymington Community Centre on Common Street.
