Description
The Lymington Community Centre is an 18th-century building that includes the section formerly known as The Old Malt House. It is arranged around three sides of a courtyard and constructed of red brick with some blue-grey headers. The building features a tiled roof with the base of a former cowl and is 1½ storeys high. The east range has four windows, while the north and south ranges each have three bays. The windows are mainly casements, with the end bay on brackets on the western facade of the northern wing. Most of the windows are likely reproductions. There is a hipped dormer on the roof. The Lymington Community Centre is part of a group that includes Hawthorn and Eagle House, as well as the garden wall of Eagle House, all of local interest, located on New Street.
