Description
Harbour Cottage is a building dating from the 18th century and the late 19th century. It is part of the same structure as the former Harlequin or Harbour Inn. The entrance features a six-panelled door with a rectangular fanlight, accessed by four steps, and is located in the one-storey section that connects with No 8. The main part of the cottage is set forward, constructed of painted brick with an old tiled roof, and has a gable above one window. The building has three storeys and a cellar, with one window on the top floor. The second-floor window is a sash in a boxed frame with late 19th-century glazing bars. Below this, there is a two-storey late 19th-century bay window with three lights under segmental arches. All windows have the same glazing. Nos 6 to 11, which are consecutive, form a group with Harbour Cottage.
