Description

Orchard Cottage is a later 19th-century building that served as a former lodge to Milford Lodge. It is constructed of yellow brick and features a pyramidal thatched roof with a central chimney. The cottage is single-storey and has three windows, predominantly early 19th-century style casements with glazing bars. The thatch extends down over the eaves on three sides, creating a verandah that is supported by wooden posts. Orchard Cottage is part of a group that includes All Saints' Church, Old Walls Farmhouse, and Milford House Hotel on Church Hill.
