Description

Spring Cottage is a Grade II listed building located on the south side of High Street in Milford on Sea. Originally two houses, the western part has a higher facade dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century, while the eastern section features a lower facade that likely belongs to an earlier building. The structure is constructed of painted brick with hipped tiled roofs at the eastern end. It stands two storeys tall and has five windows, including one blank space, with sash windows that have glazing bars and flush frames. Above the six-panelled door, which is surrounded by a moulded architrave, there is a tented canopy. Spring Cottage is part of a group of buildings of local interest that includes Bay Trees Restaurant, Nos 10 to 16 (even), and Nos 20, 22, and 28.
