Description

The buildings at 14 and 16 High Street consist of a late 18th or early 19th century structure. Number 16 is located to the rear. The construction is of painted brick with an old tiled roof. The building is two stories high with three windows. These windows are sash windows with glazing bars, and the lower windows have cambered head linings. The front door is panelled with six panels, the top two of which are now glazed, and has a reeded architrave. These buildings are part of a group that includes Bay Trees Restaurant (Nos 10 to 16) and Nos 20, 22, and 28, which contribute to local interest.
