Description

This is an early 19th-century house with a narrow frontage, comprising numbers 1, 1A, and 2. The building is constructed of red brick with an old tiled roof and features decorative chimneys with deep cornices. It is three storeys high and includes a large, prominent canted bay window extending through all floors on the High Street facade. The main doorway is distinguished by pilasters, panelled reveals, a pediment, and a segmental fanlight. There are nine windows on the return facing Captain’s Row.
