Description

These are two early 19th-century buildings located on Quay Hill. They are constructed of painted brick with a brick eaves cornice and a slate roof. A brick string course runs along the first-floor height. The buildings are three storeys high and have two windows each. Most of the original glazing bars remain in the lower three windows. The ground floor features a larger window, possibly inserted, and a 19th-century canted bay window. The entrance to number 13 is through a door in the adjacent building at number 12, and the entrance to number 14 is through a door in number 13. The listed buildings on Quay Hill, including the pavement surface and bollards, form a group with group value of Grade II*.
