Description
Nos 135 and 136 on High Street are 18th century buildings with a facade that was formerly painted brick but has now been cleaned or refronted in red brick. They feature a tiled roof and rise to two storeys with an attic that includes two dormers. The buildings have three early 19th century reproduction casement windows and a modern shop front. Together with Nos 120 to 138, the Iron Gates and Overthrow between Nos 132 and 133, and the Roman Catholic Church and Primary School, they form a group of buildings of local interest.
