Description
The King's Head Public House is an 18th-century building located on Quay Hill. It is constructed of painted brick, with No 2 being rendered. The roofs are tiled, hipped over No 1. The building has two storeys, with Nos 2 and 3 featuring an attic storey that includes one dormer each, totaling four windows. No 1 has four light bays on both the ground and first floors, while No 2 has a three light bay on the first floor. No 3 features a 19th-century shop window on the ground floor, and No 2 has a five light canted bay, which is likely a reproduction. The sash windows are mostly fitted with glazing bars. The listed buildings on Quay Hill, along with the pavement surface and bollards, form a group of Grade II quality due to their shop fronts.
