Description

The farm building located to the west of Itchell Home farmhouse dates from the 18th century. It is a four-bay timber-framed structure resembling a barn, featuring an aisle on the west side and a later bay added to the south. The vertical timbers rest on brick bases, supported by arched braces connecting to the tie beams and diagonal struts leading to the purlins. The roof is covered with red tiles. The walls are boarded, with the recent bay clad in corrugated iron, while the east side is now open. There is a small brick outshot from the mid-19th century to the north.
