Description

Hook Cottage is a 17th-century building, originally with two windows facing south. It has a red tile roof with gables at each end; the north side of the roof slopes down to a low eaves level. A substantial chimney breast with stepped sides is located at the west end. The timber frame is exposed on the east gable and the upper part of the south front, with red brick infilling and other walling. The windows are casements. A porch is situated on the north-west side and is incorporated into the chimney breast.
