Description

Kings Head House is a building with origins in the 17th century, featuring a chimney dated 1640, and mainly constructed in the 18th century. It is a long, two-storey structure with three windows on the first floor and three ground floor windows, with one located below the eastern forward extensions. The roof is covered in red tiles, gabled at the west end with a chimney breast, and hipped at the east end. The exterior is made of red brick in Flemish bond. The windows include casements, with one old sash window on the ground floor at the west end. There is a modern entrance on the east side. It is said that the building served as an inn during the Civil War.
