Description

The stable block at the rear of the George Hotel dates from the mid-19th century and features a long, symmetrical facade. It has a red tile roof with a small central gable that is tile-hung, positioned above a hay-loft door. In the center, there is a wide cambered arch, flanked by stable doors with two windows on either side. The building is constructed of red brick, and there is a timber-clad outshot at the west end. This structure is included for its group value with the George Hotel.
