Description

These are a group of buildings dating from the 17th century, with significant additions in the early 18th and 19th centuries, located on the south side of Odiham High Street. The visible exterior primarily dates to the early 18th century. The buildings are two storeys with an attic, originally a five-window arrangement, though the easternmost window is now a three-light sash replacing two earlier windows. They have red tile roofing, with a dropped central section leading to a rear catslide roof. A fully moulded modillion cornice runs along the top. The brickwork is painted. Sashes are in exposed frames. A modern shop front in a Georgian style fronts E & C Duke, while the adjacent shop front at No. 81 is from the mid-19th century. It features two bay windows with cornices and Gothic style mouldings and details. A two-storey wing at the rear of No. 77 has six windows, red tile roofing, red brick walling with a first-floor band, and four upper leaded lights in mullion and transom frames.
