Description

Thackhams is a building with a history spanning the 17th and 19th centuries. The original core is a small, early building measuring two storeys and two windows. A large, late Victorian addition was subsequently built. The roof is covered in red tiles, and a substantial chimney is attached to the west gable. The walls are largely red brick, constructed with a mixed bond pattern. A section of weatherboarded walling sits above a rendered ground floor on the north side of the west end. Windows are casement type. The plain, heavy door frames hold a six-panelled door.
