Description

Mayfield is a cottage built in 1908 by Robert Weir Schultz. It is constructed of red brick and features a plain tiled roof. The building has two gabled semi-dormers and a pebble-dashed exterior, with a wide flat brick stack emerging from the left side of the left-hand semi-dormer. There is a second brick stack located at the rear. The cottage has one storey and an attic, with an irregular arrangement of windows that includes a central staircase window and four ground floor windows. The entrance is recessed to the left of the center and has a half-glazed door with a deep segmental hood supported by a trellised porch. The date 1908 is displayed on the gable.
