Description

The Cottage is a building that likely dates back to the 17th century or earlier, with its original section consisting of the central gabled part and the eastern wing. The ground floor is made of red brick, while the upper floor is tile-hung. On the ground floor, there are two curved bays from the 18th century, featuring a modillion cornice above. The west wing was probably added in the 18th century, constructed with alternating red brick and grey headers. A modern window bay has been added at the west end of the ground floor. The building has a tiled roof and casement windows throughout, except in the bays. It is two storeys high and has five windows.
