Description

This is a mid-19th century range of boatbuilders’ cottages, originally built in pairs. The outer pairs are identical, with the central pair slightly projecting. The cottages are constructed with painted weatherboarding and have slate roofs. They are single-storey with attics. Numbers 4 and 5 each feature two wide gables, with a three-light casement window above and at ground floor level. A central joint doorcase is present, featuring an angled porch and angled front doors with four panels. Numbers 2, 3, 6 and 7 each have a single gabled dormer, a three-light casement window on the ground floor, and a central joint doorcase with a gabled porch and angled front doors with four panels.
