The barn located to the south west of Brownwich Farmhouse dates from the 18th century or earlier. It is an aisled barn with eight bays, featuring a brick plinth and weatherboarded sides, although the northern corner has been partly patched with concrete blocks. The roof is old, tiled, and half hipped, with asbestos capping and some fishscale tiles. There are opposing doors and end doors, and the roof structure includes through purlins with straight braces.
