Description

The North Barn at Upper Posbrook Farm is an 18th century or earlier weatherboarded barn, with the western part built on a brick plinth. The rear end is now covered in corrugated iron. It features double opposite doors and a hipped thatched roof supported by tie beams, Queen posts, collars, and straight braces, with through purlins. There is a small modern door with a dovecot above it, and one early 19th century style three-light casement window has been inserted. Upper Posbrook Farmhouse is part of a group with its east and north barns.
