Description
Early 19th century, Pylewell House has a rendered facade with grooves designed to resemble masonry. It features a wide, bracketed eaves cornice and a hipped slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has two windows, which are sash windows with glazing bars and Jalousies. The front door has a moulded architrave and a flat hood supported by consoles, accompanied by side lights. Pylewell House forms a group with numbers 162 to 174 (even), the street boundary wall at number 174, numbers 182 to 190 (even), and number 196, together with numbers 169 to 175 (odd), the railings and gate at number 169, and the street boundary wall at number 171. Numbers 175 and 196 are considered buildings of local interest.
