Description

Swanwick Barn at Friends Farm is a 17th or early 18th century timber-framed barn located on the north side of Swanwick Lane. It features weatherboarding above a brick plinth and has a half-hipped roof covered with old tiles. The barn includes double opposite wagon entrances, each with a hipped gable above. Inside, there are tie beams, queen posts, and collars, along with additional braces at the sides of the entrance bay. Friends' Farmhouse, along with its barn and granary, forms a group with Morgans' Farmhouse and its barn to the rear, with the latter buildings being of local interest.
