Description

This is an early 18th-century house, with later 20th-century repairs and an extension following a fire. The walls are of flint with brick dressings, and the later work is brick. The roof is thatched, with a catslide at the rear and a hip at the west end. The south front has two storeys and three windows, with casement windows. A half-glazed door sits within a plain-framed, boarded porch with a gabled thatched roof. Inside, a section of a middle wall, exposed by the fire, is timber-framed and dates to around 1600. This wall contains a three-light mullioned wooden window.
