Description
Nos 53 and 54 are two cottages, which were formerly three, dating from the 18th and 19th centuries. They feature brick walls constructed in Flemish bond, with some sections using blue headers and a blue header bond alongside a flush red brick plinth. The cottages have a first-floor band, quoins, and some cambered openings, as well as a brick dentil eaves band. The roof is tiled with a catslide at the rear. The north-east front is two storeys high and has three windows with casements, along with two boarded doors set in plain frames. These cottages are included for their group value.
