House. C16, early C19, with minor C20 additions. Stone front, with a tile roof. A timber framed building, with a small westward addition, of the early C19, and a late C20 garage at the east side; front (south) of 2 storeys, 4 windows. The roof is hipped at the west end and the eaves line is broken by the heads of the upper windows: shafted stack. Ironstone walls with brick dressings. Casements. C20 shallow porch, with a boarded front to the gable, and rendered cheeks: a boarded door in a plain frame (to a former 2nd cottage) at the east side. The whole of the long north elevation has exposed framing, in massive timbers and with large arch-bracing, filled with ironstone (a few brick panels), the west side having some lighter framing, ending with a short brick section. West end tile-hung above stone walls, the upper east end with exposed framing. Date mark of 1590.
