Description

Holt Cottage is a small cottage dating back to the 17th century, with alterations made in the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and thatch. The building is single-storey with an attic, and features an irregular arrangement of windows. The roof is half-hipped at the south end, hipped at the north, and has a catslide at the rear. The brickwork is painted and laid in a monk bond, with one cambered opening and some exposed timber framing. The windows are casements. There are two 20th-century porches with thatched roofs.
