Description

The mill, located immediately south-west of Island Mill House, dates from the early 19th century. It is a plain rectangular building with two storeys and an attic, featuring irregularly placed windows. The roof is half-hipped and covered with slate. The walls are made of red brick in Flemish bond, with blue headers, and have cambered openings, including an arched water entry. Inside, the machinery and heavy timber supports are intact.
