Description

This is a mid-19th century Schoolmaster’s House built in a decorative Gothic style. The building has two storeys and a gabled west front with three windows above one. It features a steep tiled roof with decorative bargeboards. The red brick walls are laid in Flemish bond, with flush blue bands of varying widths and patterns. The window and door surrounds are cambered red brick with keys. The central upper window has a taller arch with a key and sashes with rounded heads below a circular light. A quarter-octagonal porch with a hipped roof and arched opening sits recessed on the south side, supported by brick impost blocks. A small, single-storey extension in a similar style is attached to the north side.
