Description

Nos 6 and 8 North Street are a pair of cottages built around 1900. They are distinctive due to the slight batter of their tile-hung gables at both the front and rear. The cottages are two storeys high and have two windows each. They feature a tile roof with two middle gables and have low eaves above the doorways, which are set back on the sides. The walls are constructed of red brick in stretcher bond, accented with blue flush bands at the levels of the upper cills, first floor, and ground floor. The windows are casements, and the doors are plain. These cottages are included for their group value.
