Description
The barn to the right of Bidden Grange Farmhouse dates from the 17th and 18th centuries. It features a five-bay timber frame with a central entrance on the south side, a north aisle, and a south aisle located east of the entrance. At the west end, there is a unit from a slightly later period that consists of three narrower bays. The barn has an old tiled roof that is half-hipped at both ends and has low eaves above the aisles, with a full hip over the projected entrance. The main framing includes straight struts. The walls are primarily red brick, with upper boarding above the open south side of the western unit. There are modern small extensions, and the posts forming the entrance are inscribed with the dates 1761 and 1789.
