Description

Manor House is a building of 16th and 17th century origin, but it was largely restored around 1900. It has two storeys and an attic. The west front is nearly symmetrical, featuring a tall central timber-framed bay with a porch, flanked by wings that project forward. These wings have half-hipped gables and walls that are hung with scalloped tiles. The east end includes a large stall set against a wall with brick-nogged timber-framing. The house now exhibits characteristics typical of a country house from the early 1900s, including tile roofing, red brick walls, tile-hanging, leaded casements, and some exposed framing.
