Description

Allways is an 18th-century building situated on the north side of the B3046 road, between Preston Candover and Nutley. Its west front is symmetrical, featuring four windows arranged over one storey and an attic. The roof is thatched with eyebrow dormers. The walls are painted brickwork in a Flemish bond pattern, with cambered window and door openings. A projecting stucco-faced frame centres the doorway, flanked by windows, displaying four pilasters, an arch above the doorway and a beam above the windows. Casement windows are present throughout. A half-glazed modern door replaces the original.
