Description

No 20, Church Square, was formerly known as the Jolly Sailors' Inn. It features an early 19th-century front that conceals an older structure at the back, which dates from the 15th century. The building is three storeys high and has one window. The front is stuccoed, while the sides are made of brick. The doorway is adorned with thin pilasters and a flat hood. This property, along with Nos 20 to 46 (even) and No 33, forms a group with Nos 27 to 30 on Watchbell Street.
