Description

The Union Inn is an 18th-century facade applied to an earlier timber-framed house. It is two storeys high with four windows. The exterior is painted brick and stucco, topped by a moulded wooden cornice. The roof is tiled. A projecting shop window with small square panes, dating to the early 19th century, is located at the north corner. The doorway has a fluted frame and a flat hood supported on brackets. The door is a six-panel moulded design. The inn forms a group with Nos 1 to 7 (consec), No 9, and Nos 104 and 104A High Street.
