Description

This is a late 17th-century building on East Street. It is two storeys high and has three windows. The building is constructed of red brick and has an eaves cornice. The roof is tiled. The upper floor has casement windows with original leaded panes. The ground floor features sash windows with slightly cambered head linings, and a small, projecting 18th-century shop window with small square panes. The doorway is within a frame and has a small, flat hood. The building is part of a group that includes La ochelle, Chequer, The Vicarage, and numbers 16 to 19 (consecutive).
