Description

This is a circa 1830 stuccoed pair of buildings designed by James Burton, located on the Marina in St Leonards-on-Sea. The buildings are three storeys high with a basement. They feature four windows per front, with sash windows lacking glazing bars. The ground floor windows are set within moulded architraves. The first floor has French windows that open onto a balcony. The balcony is adorned with an ornate cast-iron balustrade and a tent-shaped canopy. A central porch features pilasters and a cornice. A low stuccoed basement area wall, complete with coping and pilasters, runs along the front. The roof is slate and hipped in style. Nos. 111 to 127 form a group.
