Description

No. 16 West Hill Road is a small house dated 1828, designed by James Burton. It is stuccoed with low-pitched slated roofs that have gable ends. The building is two storeys high and three windows wide. The right side of the house projects slightly and features a gable with the date 1828 displayed. There are two two-storeyed canted bays and a projecting central porch that has a segmental-headed doorway. All the windows are later sashes, and there are rendered chimney stacks. This house is part of a group that includes Nos. 14 to 24 (even).
