Description

No. 5, Maze Hill, is a house dating from 1832, designed by James Burton in a Tudor Gothic style. The exterior is roughcast with a parapet. The house is three storeys high and three bays wide. The ground and first floors have a slightly projecting central section with battlements and a dripmould over the first-floor window. A four-centred arch door is recessed behind a modern canted bay window, with a two-storeyed canted bay window to the left and a first-floor oriel window to the right. The second floor has three rectangular windows with dripmoulds, all containing modern casement windows. Nos. 2 to 6, Maze Hill, form a group.
