Description

This is a cast iron boundary post located on Quarry Hill. It stands approximately 600 millimeters high and has a square cross-section of 160 millimeters, topped with a pyramidal cap. The post features raised lettering below the cap and above a roll moulding, displaying 'HLB' (Hastings Liberty) on one side and 'StL' (St Leonards) on the opposite side, although the lettering on the visible face is no longer legible. The post is set into a later stone boundary wall, which is not of special interest and is excluded from the listing.
