Description

This is a cast iron boundary post located on Mount Pleasant. It stands approximately 600 millimeters high and is 160 millimeters square, topped with a pyramidal cap. The post features raised lettering below the cap and above a roll moulding, displaying ‘HLB’ (Hastings Liberty) on one side, while the opposite side likely has ‘StL’ (St Leonards).

The post is now part of a later brick boundary wall that serves as the foundation for a building next to No. 7 Mount Pleasant. However, neither the boundary wall nor the building is considered of special interest and are not included in the listing.
