Description

Nos. 25 and 26, North Street, are a pair of buildings constructed around 1852. They are built of flint with red brick dressings, although No. 25 has been painted. The building features a parapet with a brick cornice of cogging and brick quoins. The two-storey building has two windows on the front elevation. The first floor has three-light sash windows without glazing bars, set within brick surrounds with keystones. The ground floor contains two Victorian shop fronts, each with a moulded stone cornice. Nos. 25 to 28 form a group.
