Description

74 Norman Road is an early to mid 19th-century building that is three storeys tall and finished in stucco. The first and second floors feature pilasters that support an entablature with a parapet. The building has one window width, with sash windows on the first and second floors that include margin lights and glazing bars, all set within moulded architraves. The first floor windows are topped with a cornice. The ground floor has a mid-19th-century shop front that is pilastered, complete with a fascia and cornice, and a panelled door to the left that has a rectangular fanlight above it. This building is included for its group value, as it is part of a row with Nos 64 to 74, where Nos 64, 70, and 72 are of local interest only.
