Description
The Greyhound Public House is an early 19th-century building located on Union Street. It stands three storeys tall and is faced with stucco. The building features a parapet with a raised central panel that conceals the roof and a cornice below. There is a moulded cornice at the first floor level. The second floor has a recessed sash window without glazing bars, set on a block sill. The first floor showcases a large flat-fronted bow window with three lights, which retains its glazing bars. This window is flanked by pilasters and has a panelled apron, with a frieze and cornice that slightly project forward. The ground floor has a modern public house front. The Greyhound Public House is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 13 and No 15.
